Description

Annette has an MA Hons in Printmaking and has been teaching for over 30 years. She runs an artisan business with her artist partner Mike Fenton, and block prints bespoke lampshades, limited edition prints, clocks and paintings. She regularly runs printmaking events for the public, and recently ran her own successful crafts and print gallery. The 2 day course covers linocut and some monotype and stencil printing. Carve a linocut block and print either onto paper, fabric, lampshade material or wood to create picture prints, textiles, lampshades or clocks. You can develop a large linocut and print onto paper using different colourways, or onto fabric for cushion covers or wall-hangings, or a silk scarf. A new option is to print onto lampshade material and make a lampshade or one of our cylinder light with inbuilt electrics. Or decorate a round wooden clock face using print and painted effects.
