Description

'Cornflower' is the first in a new series focusing on wildflowers. Several different embroidery techniques are used including surface embroidery, stumpwork, raised work, needlelace, needleweaving and goldwork. Stranded cottons in a range of greens and silk floss in blues and purple are used in a variety of surface stitches on the pale pink background. Unusual silk wrapped purl threads are also included. This kit is suitable for someone with some embroidery experience. The finished embroidery measures 15.5cm high by 15.5cm wide. Designed by Liz Tapper at The Art of the Needle.
