Come to our lovely workshop and enjoy making a leather cross body bag from start to finish in one day. We will teach you: How to assess the leather for the job intended. Choose from a basic pattern and learn how adapt and design. How to choose fixings for your clutch bag. Colour combining i.e. leather and stitching combinations. Pattern making for the hardware. You will learn hand sewing and riveting techniques. Attaching a shoulder/cross body strap. Initialling and tooling decoration will be available. All tools and materials included. About Wolfram Lohr Wolfram Lohr, has been working with leather for over 20 years after initially learning shoemaking with various shoemakers in Brighton. He branched out to create an accessories range of luxury handmade leather goods soon after seeing a need for good quality, long lasting and stylish products for his customers. He now runs his successful brand and courses from his well-equipped and eclectic studio in Hove. Wolfram is bursting with passion for his craftsmanship and uses it along with his expertise and extensive knowledge of leather to teach courses in making different artisan leather goods. He takes great pleasure in sharing his craft with his students and he finds it enriches his own design process as well as others. Our aim is for students, of all abilities, to feel inspired by traditional leather craft and to master simple techniques to equip them with the skills to create their own designs for personal or professional use.
