Learn the basics of wood carving by hand in the scandinavian flat plane style, a 1 knife proficiency craft and skill. You will learn and practice the 4 basic carving hand grips, safety, a bit of history of the craft and complete your first project from block of wood to finished piece.
What's included in the price?
Materials, tools, and refreshments. We ask you to please bring your safety cut-resistance glove as it needs to fight nicely and tightly to your non-dominant hand. We can provide some thumb guard tape for you. Come enjoy creating your own unique hand-carved figures and sculptures!
